About the author
Chao is a freelance illustrator and cartoonist from Singapore. His past work work includes Sing a Song of Hawker Food by Lianne Ong and Janice Khoo, and Looking for Likes by Chern Yao Wong and Joel Neo. He also illustrated The Boy with the Missing Thumb, a short graphic story written by Felix Cheong. Inspired by his experiences as a stay-home dad, Chao draws a fortnightly comic strip for Lianhe Zaobao. He shares his cartoons on Instagram at @doodlesinabox.
